OTC DAIHEN trainingD-Series Training Course

The D-Series Training Course teaches how to operate a D-Series welding power supply in both manual and robotic modes, understand functions, troubleshoot the machine, and properly apply to their application needs.

NOTE: This course is a NON-WELDING Course.

Class Contents

Operator:

  • Features and Functions of D-Series (DM350, DP400 and/or DP500)
  • Features and Functions of  D-Series (Wire Feeder and Torch)
  • Programming D-Series to include options.
  • Go over Alarm Error codes and what to do
  • Practice Welding in Manual and Robotic modes

Operator and Maintenance:

  • Features and Functions of D-Series (DM350, DP400 and/or DP500)
  • Features and Functions of  D-Series (Wire Feeder and Torch)
  • Programming D-Series to include options.
  • Go over Alarm Error codes and what to do
  • Practice Welding in Manual and Robotic modes
  • PCBs and their functions
  • Power components and their functions (IGBT, Diodes, etc.)
  • Reading schematics from input power to weld output
  • Trouble-shooting with Voltmeters and Oscilloscopes

Who is this class for?

This course is designed for operators and maintenance personnel who need to use this machine for both manual and automated welding, as well as provide general maintenance for the machine.

Class Format

In addition to classroom lectures and discussions, there will be plenty of “hands-on” time for students to comfortably familiarize with using D-Series machines for both manual and robotic welding applications.

A “Certificate of Achievement” is awarded to those students who successfully complete this 2 day course.

How to Register

To register, please fill out and submit a Training Registration Form at least two (2) weeks prior to start date of the class that you would like to attend. A separate registration form is required for each student attending the classes. OTC DAIHEN will send an acknowledgement for each registration form received, indicating the selected class dates and PO number confirmation.
